A truly lovely place to camp. It was clean and eventhough it was pretty full, it never felt too crowded.

Dowdy Lake is a peaceful campground. Our site was #6. It wasn't on the lake but had a nice view of a mountain with deer wandering through a couple of times a day. The pit toilets smelled when we first got there but the camp host took care of it. A day later we had friends join us who commented on how nice the pit toilets were. We'll definitely be back.

Site 26 is NOT shaded at all even though the website says so. Great park, but this site sucks.
