We always enjoy our time at Mountain Park whenever we are able to get a reservation. Problem is, it is very popular and reservations are hard to get.

Great campground and great location. Just be prepared for the $9 bundle of firewood.

We stayed at Mtn Park 5 days 4 nights. We use a 30 ft trailer pulled by a truck. We had some trouble fitting the trailer into the site with it's 2 slides and long shade awning. There was a fair amount of shade and some trees and bushes to help privacy. The showers were open and used 2 quarters to start. There is a rather strenuous trail from the campground to the top of a nearby mountain. The campground is separated from the highway by the river, and some elevation, so only the loud vehicles were heard in camp. It's a very nice place to camp.

Very pleasant campground with sites nicely spaced apart. The showers were clean and provided plenty if time for 50 cents.

Like this campground a lot! Some site were a little close, but not too bad. Hosts we great and friendly. Not sure if it was the time of year or what, but didn’t have any issues with mosquitoes. Was worried that I would hear the road since it was so close, but the river covers it up well.

We come up here at least once a year. It’s a short drive, it’s clean and well maintained. Quiet and relaxing with no wi-fi whatsoever, so you can enjoy nature, relax and reset. People are laughing and having a good time all day and into the evening, people watch each others kids and no one cares if a kiddo wanders over to visit.
One of my favorite places to go!!
