We come up here at least once a year. It’s a short drive, it’s clean and well maintained. Quiet and relaxing with no wi-fi whatsoever, so you can enjoy nature, relax and reset. People are laughing and having a good time all day and into the evening, people watch each others kids and no one cares if a kiddo wanders over to visit.
One of my favorite places to go!!

Stayed Bear Loop #21. It is a pretty site but quite close to other campers although never had any problem with noise. The trails are wonderful along the river bank - even a sandy beach area. Will definitely return.

We love it here, campsites are clean and everybody is very nice. I love they have electricity but I would love even more if there was wi fi. We really enjoy our stay.

First time staying in this campground. We arrived early but the site was still occupied. They stayed a while past checkout time. We set up a tent on electric site 032 MCCO. The electric is set up for camping units, not tents. We had to stretch an extension cord across the drive up to the tent pad area. Fortunately, we carry a long one with us. The area is very clean and well maintained. There are plenty of pit toliets nearby and they are not extremely smelly. The shower house is just that, No restrooms. Plenty of shade trees, deer and chipmunks around. Beautiful area! We stayed in July and didn't see much wildlife on our evening drives. We visited late May 2017 and saw a lot of wildlife. Either the heat or the wildfires in recent years has affected the sightings. We will definetly be back.

The campground is nice & the hosts are wonderful. However, the bridge access (only access) damaged our truck to the tune of $6400. The insurance company for the campground refused to take responsibility for the damages. We are now out the money for repairs. The campground host even tried to repair said bridge. Bad access is a safety concern.
