A little disappointed withe the fact that the campsite was not raked as usual, the people who are responsible for the area where our campsite were not doing all the things that should be cleaned. The team that is responsible for the area down below were working twice as hard to clean the area where we camped. You certainly got your monies worth with that team ( Bill & Donna ) worked so hard. That team that was responsible for the upper should not be allowed to return next season. Every time we passed their camper they were either sitting there in their lounge chairs, we didn’t think it was fair to Donna & Bill!!!

It's a beautiful park with many wooded sites and it provides adequate space between the sites.

My son and I spent four nights, from 23-26 August, at the Mountain Park campground. We had perfect weather and had a terrific time. The hosts have done an excellent job keeping the park in great shape, and our 'neighbors' were the best. We had a campfire several nights with the wood sold by the hosts and the fire rings worked perfectly. Each day we took a morning trip to local areas including Joe Wright Reservoir, a alpine meadow park on Laramie River Road, and the town of Walden.
We brought along a 6 gallon water jug that we used to fill the water tank in the PUP, and refilled it once from one of the potable water spigots located near the vault toilets. They even have showers available for 50 cents!
Being only an hour and a half from Fort Collins, this will be a park that we go back to regularly!

Appreciated the on-site hosts. Outhouses and showers were very clean and well kept. Absolutely no cell service, but that was ok. Make sure to bring cash or a check for firewood bundles! All around an awesome experience! Thank you, we'll be back!

The most amazing hosts in the area! Truly a great spot, hence the reason we have gone 16 year straight!

Great campsites! Spaced decently apart, everyone was friendly, and bathrooms were clean. What else could you ask for?
