Nice hiking trails.

The hosts do an amazing job keeping this campground clean and maintained
The Poudre River is easily accessed directly below the campground
Mt McConnel Trail leaves from the campground
A drive up canyon reveals the damage from the Cameron Peak Fire, as well as the renewal of the ground cover and surviving trees
Drive Laramie River Road (slowly) to look for moose; they feed in the willows and are hard to spot
West Branch Trailhead is also on this road for a day hike or backpacking

Enjoyed our time at Mountain, love the nearby hiking.

We went mid week and it was not crowded. We loved the sound of the river. We were disappointed that there was not water nor showers, as advertised. If there are no showers available, full price should not be charged. In addition, very few trails were open with the exception of Mt. McConnell and Dadd Gulch. Joe Wright was frozen and there were very few other fishing holes, as the Poudre was running very swift. However, we still had a good time meeting new friends and sitting around the fire.

water and shower weren't ready to use.
One of the water hydrants was un covered and I got water for my dogs just to find out the water had a very high chlorine content.
Both dogs were sick the next day.
Everything should be up and working properly prior to opening in the spring.
Very frustrating when you pay full price and can't use full facility!!!

Very clean facility. Well organized and courteous staff.

Camp hosts were amazing. Camp was clean and spaced nicely. The only drawback was the road noise.
