Amazing spacious spot! Amazing view, the only down side would be the limited parking, but the uppers narrows has a bigger parking space for additional cars!

This campground overlooks the Cache la Poudre river which made all the difference in our experience here. You can hear the murmur of the water at night, and you can wade in the river during the day. The vault toilets were impeccable! It is a short drive to the Young Gulch trailhead, which was a really nice hike -- several creek crossings over logs/ stone hopping/ or a bridge. We would definitely come back to this campground again.

We had a great time by the water's edge. Saw a small rattler, so watch where you step!

Narrows Campground is usually one of our favorites but this year what a surprise and shock we were in for. Turns out there were new numbers for each site but someone installed them backwards ie. In the wrong spots. This caused confusion beyond imagine and with the new camp hosts just giving spots out at random to others it made for a trying 2 hours before we could even get to our favorite months out pre requested site. The camp host told us things like “well.....they came for site 11 but someone was already there so I gave them site 12 for their 3 nights....one of which was ours BUT the real site 12 was marked 15... We ended up having to drive to other camp hosts for help and in the end we got to camp AND once home Ed who has control over the Poudre River Campgrounds was contacted and the numbers were put in their rightful spots so hopefully all will go smoothly from here on out and my next review can be the top star Narrows usually warrants! Thank you Ed and the hosts at Kelly Flats!

We had a great stay at the Narrows campground. It is right next to the river, providing excellent fishing opportunities and wading in the river. The location is close to many hiking and fishing possibilities. The only problem was the trash was overflowing which attracted a bear. Luckily it did not bother anyone, just made a huge mess around the trash.
