Beautiful, pristine camp grounds in an exquisite setting! Camp hosts are friendly and safety minded. At one point, they walked over to be sure we understood dangers associate with lightning.
Thank you!

We had a great time at West Lake like we do every year. Sharon is the best camp host around and sorry to hear that she is retiring after this season. The down side is that this campground needs to have some roadwork done. We had a lot of rain while we were there and because of the lack of roadwork/drainage, water and mud ran all over the concrete areas leading to the bathrooms and some sites had standing water. The road from the main paved road is getting so narrow because of the water damage/washout, that it is very hard to get 2 vehicles pulling trailers into the camp spots. This road was like this in 2020 and nothing has been done this year and it just keeps getting worse. Dowdy seems to be getting all the attention when it comes to any roadwork being done.
