The horse cam is in a beautiful setting with 2 large sturdy corrals for your campsite. You will have to haul water from 1 of 2 water spigots though for a little workout while you enjoy the beautiful riding. The 23 mile gravel road in is in terrible condition and you will have to drive about 10 mph unless you want your trailer to rattle apart! Worth it though!!! I will be back

Overall the camp was in very good condition. Was fond of the crushed rock in the corrals. It packed into my horses hooves.

We have camped twice at Palisades , the first time was awesome , altho I'm not a fan of the cliff trails . The 2nd time , we got rained out . The pens were a horrible muddy mess, if they fill them with sand/ small gravel and put shelters over them, that would be awesome, horses would stay dry and no or way less mud to stand in

Been here a few times and absolutely love it. The place is so clean and Bo keeps the bathroom cleaner than any other that we have camped at. Bo, the host, and his wife a wonderful people. In fact he is one reason we keep going back. Lots of trails for good riding. Then your so close to Pagosa Springs to go and enjoy the day playing in the hot springs or the river. Shopping isn’t to bad either.
