Wonderful campsite. Although, site 16 was more suitable for smaller rigs than our 28 foot trailer. Restrooms were very clean and well maintained. Lots of pot holes in the road making it difficult to maneuver with a trailer. Campsite tables and fire pit were well maintained. If you have any kind of emergency, please check with the site hosts: Mitch, Tom and Pam. They were wonderful and had many helpful suggestions.

Our campsite was beautiful! It was relatively easy to find and we had an amazing time. The facilities were fine and there was a nice campsite manager with firewood (don’t bring your own from out of town!). There was also a store about 30 min away that had a great selection. Definitely recommend doing the pieces ice fissures and continue up to the too for some spectacular views! We also did the pieces falls hike in the same day and that was amazing! Later that day we also went to williams creek reservoir with our dogs and that was also beautiful! Overall a great experience!

If you are tent camping, ignore Williams Creek and go a couple miles up the road to Cimmarona Campground. Smaller, no large RVs. Quite pleasant. Unfortunately, you can't reserve a spot but on the days when there were only a few sites left at Williams Creek, Cimmarona was largely empty. There is also Teal - which is right on the reservoir but that had numerous RVs and ATVs.
