Cascade Campground in Colorado is praised for its stunning location, spacious and well-maintained campsites, and a friendly, helpful camp host. Visitors appreciate the beautiful views, especially during the fall, and the proximity to hiking trails and attractions like St. Elmo Ghost Town and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. The campground feels secluded and has wonderful views of Mt. Princeton and Mt. Antero! The host is fabulous and keeps the bathrooms incredibly clean and even hangs up solar lights at night inside the vault toilets! I camped alone and felt super safe here.

Beautiful mountain location among several 14,000+ mountain peaks. Nearby river cascade was excellent.
Central water supply was a handpump that was difficult to operate.
