What Guests Are Saying
Cascade Campground in Colorado is praised for its stunning location, spacious and well-maintained campsites, and a friendly, helpful camp host. Visitors appreciate the beautiful views, especially during the fall, and the proximity to hiking trails and attractions like St. Elmo Ghost Town and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. However, some guests noted issues with water availability and reservation challenges, as well as occasional road noise, which could impact the camping experience.

Wonderful, quiet campground. The hosts were the best we've ever encountered. Dave & his wife were great.

My favorite campground, ever. This is our second time staying in this campground and we've had wonderful experiences both times. This last time that we went, our hosts were such kind and beautiful people! They went to everyone's campsites during the evening, guitar in hand and began to play a song. It made us very happy and truly welcomed. We go camping often, and I had never had hosts like them. My kids love it here, and we will absolutely be going again.

Honestly one of the best and cleanest campground. Im not just a seasonal camper, camped hundreds times on paid, reserved, remote or dispersed campsites all over States and Europe. Toilets clean, well ventilated, maintained twice daily. Artesian water on campground accessible thru hand pump so no need to drag gallons of water. We boiled it for drinking and cooking and turned out fine. Camp hosts were awesome! Made rounds around campsites twice daily socializing and making sure everyone was well, not invasive. What is really unique about this place is its secluded location, near Chalk Creek between two high mountains with awesome peaks views and high altitude easily accesible. I slept like baby even though our dog was going crazy with chipmunks running around. Peaceful atmosphere, cascaded spots with enough privacy, sound of creek at night, crisp air makes perfect for relaxing. Bonus of the stay was on our last night camp hosts came and serenaded us with acoustic guitar Take Me Home,Country Road. That was awesome! Will definitely come back another time.

Absolutely beautiful! Setting.
Campgrounds were immaculate. The camp host is warm and kind + a wealth of knowledge about the history surrounding the location.
Recommend sites on the outside loop as inside loop lack privacy however not a deal killer what so ever. Family friendly.
