What Guests Are Saying

Cascade Campground in Colorado is praised for its stunning location, spacious and well-maintained campsites, and a friendly, helpful camp host. Visitors appreciate the beautiful views, especially during the fall, and the proximity to hiking trails and attractions like St. Elmo Ghost Town and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. However, some guests noted issues with water availability and reservation challenges, as well as occasional road noise, which could impact the camping experience.

Bikes are fantastic if you have kids- a great loop plus a trail through the middle of the campground between campsites. So much fun!

Great location in the canyon. Lots of trees, campsites close together but still private.

Site 15 is accessible. It is also the most private site in the campground- great for tent camping as tent pad is set back from cooking area in a grove of trees. Heard the stream all night, despite it being on the other side of the road. This campground is more spread out than Mt Princeton down the road. Recommend.

Lovely campground. Plenty of room between sites and dense trees for privacy. Pretty quiet once the road traffic dies down in the evening. Camp Host was very nice.

The campground is surrounded by towering mountains and every view is amazing. There is a lot of shade in the campground and Chalk Creek is across the street with plenty of trails that lead to the creek.
