What Guests Are Saying

Cascade Campground in Colorado is praised for its stunning location, spacious and well-maintained campsites, and a friendly, helpful camp host. Visitors appreciate the beautiful views, especially during the fall, and the proximity to hiking trails and attractions like St. Elmo Ghost Town and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. However, some guests noted issues with water availability and reservation challenges, as well as occasional road noise, which could impact the camping experience.

Great location, wonderful campground. Site 6 smells a little like the bathroom and the picnic table gets inundated in a heavy rain, but the tent pad stayed dry. Site 19 is beyond excellent. Good trees for hammocks at many sites, and there is a small network of trails in the middle of the loop perfect for little kids on bikes. Easy drive to St Elmo or Princeton Hot Springs, and endless hiking and biking opportunities nearby. Narrow Gauge Trail just down the road is interesting and provides a shortcut to the Colorado Trail.
