What Guests Are Saying
O'Haver Lake offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with stunning scenery and well-maintained sites, making it a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Camp hosts receive high praise for their friendliness and cleanliness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, issues such as limited water availability, noisy generators, and overcrowding during peak times detract from the experience, suggesting the need for improved management and facilities.

Nice shady spot near the lake (with some daily use traffic). Excellent fishing and paddling. Fall colors along Marshall Pass Road outstanding.

Beautiful area, decent facilities and friendly staff. Paddle boarding, boating, fishing & swimming were all excellent! Great accessibility to the lake and amazing views!
The road up to the lake was a bit of a rough ride especially for large campers & rvs. But many were there regardless.

Ohaver Lake is such a special place. Other than having to listen to Generators going till late at night. I wish something would change. The noise ruined the Evening. George

A beautiful little lake in a lovely wooded environment. Campsites are close together, with one or two exceptions, which makes it less than ideal when your neighbor is running his RV generator most of the morning. If not for that I would give 5 stars. What could have been a great experience was reduced to a good one. Still, this place is worth a visit.

If reservations are not available, some campsites are first come-first served, also called "Walk-up" sites. First-come, first-served sites must be occupied the SAME NIGHT they are paid for. These sites usually fill Friday evenings and through the weekends. Due to the remote nature of campgrounds, calling to check availability prior to arrival is not possible. |
