Great campground again, I remember it before the beetle kill and when it got cleared out. So much new growth and so many new trees. Seedhouse is our favorite campground. The camp hosts are super nice and informative, I like them.

Really nice campground close to Zirkle with good fishing near camp. Camp hosts were super friendly and helpful, too!

Stayed at site 24. Great campsite. Campground host this year was great. Very helpful. Been camping at seed house for years. Nice to see the trees coming back.

This is a lovely campground with proximity to hikes in Mt. Zirkel Wilderness and the Continental Divide Trail. The sound of the Elk River lulled us to sleep each night. It was not full when we were there mid-week, but I imagine it fills up on weekends. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

Seedhouse is a pretty basic, but nice campground. The way I like them! Sites are a bit varied, so check the pictures before booking. Camp hosts very nice and friendly. So well-located near great trailheads...my go-to for Mt. Zirkel Wilderness!

We loved our stay so much that we are returning next week! We love its proximity to hiking, fishing and a grocery store. Water is wonderful too!

Beautiful campground. Clean vault toilets. Close to the river. Enough flat space for large tent. Stayed at site 19.

From downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado, take U.S. Highway 40 west and turn right on Routt County Road 129, locally known as Elk River Road. Continue north 17 miles, cross the Elk River just beyond the Clark Store, and turn right along the river on RCR 64, which becomes Forest Road 400/Seedhouse Road. Continue for 9 miles. Seedhouse Campground is on the right, just after the bridge over the North Fork of the Elk River.
