The campground host could not have been better! I've never seen a host work as hard as he did. He was exceptional. I believe his name was Steve.

We originally had 2 small campsites and the host upgraded us to the group site so we could all be together. I loved the privacy of the campsite and the space we had as well as the proximity to the trail heads. The campsite host checked in on us a couple times per day which was enough to really make us feel welcome . Overall, it was a beautiful site and we would love to go back.

Perfect location for the Bluegrass Festival. Away from the crown and a lovely place to hike from and a wonderful restaurant within walking distance. It is a go to place for us.

The campgrounds and camp groundskeeper (Steve I think?) was absolutely fantastic. I cannot express how much I appreciate everything about that. I only gave it the 4 stars because, well, our spot wasn't ideal. We were in the middle of a wide-open area with little to no tree coverage.
Oh well, still a great time!!!
