The sites are very well maintained; the views are spectacular. You may see eagles, manatees, dolphins and alligators, like we did.

We had an excellent 3 night stay at WP Franklin campground. The place is immaculately kept up. We loved site #5 on the River. The bathrooms were very clean too. Best of all was Carlos, the volunteer who checked us in. He was friendly , professional and helpful. My husband lost his phone the last day and Carlos did everything possible to assist in finding it. He went above and beyond being helpful until after hours of searching, we found the phone. We couldn’t have found it without his help. We’re looking forward to another stay at this beautiful campground! Thank you.

This place has absolutely amazing views. It is located on its own peninsula and is surrounded Caloosahatchee River. There is a pier that campers and visitors can use to fish from or just enjoy the views. This is a small campground. The sites are a little close together and open. There is some shade but not a lot. We opted to not use the restrooms. The sites have electric and water. The dump station is centrally located. We were on site 21 which was connected to another site. It would be great for campers who travel together. We didn't know the campers across from us but they were very nice. There were alligators in the river but they stayed on the opposite shore.
