Arrived on Jan 1st 2022. On the morning of Jan 2nd, while walking my dog, I was physically attacked from behind by one of campground hosts who claimed I hit his dog. He also stole my walking stick and broke it. Police and EMS personnel responded. This campground host was charged with felony assault and the case is currently going through the court system.

This park is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed watching the boats going through the locks. It is close enough to Ft. Myers for shopping needs, or entertainment. Camp host were friendly and helpful. We will come back here again.

The showers ( West end) need a soap dish and a fold up stool. Every take a shower with no place to place a bar of soap. You have to use the floor. I think W. P. Franklin can do better that this. Please consider putting in soap dishes. Thank you.
