We had spots 9 & 10 for the weekend in late March. Weather was perfect. We sat under the big oak trees and enjoyed the Spring Breezes and beautiful scenery. We saw some Tarpon rolling through a couple of times.
I think the spots we had were perfect and probably the best 2 in the park, but they are all good honestly. Sunset on the bench at the end of our spots was awesome! A lot of other campers came through our sites at sunset to get down to the bench and shelter on the water, but it was only for sunset, and it did not bother us. Bathrooms were very clean, and the campground host was very nice and extremely helpful. Mountain biking trails just down the road at CRP. We enjoyed the trails every day we stayed here. Will be back again soon!

Beautiful quiet campground, large level sandy sites. Recycling bins were not clearly labeled, which was still not an excuse for selfish campers and day users who dumped their trash into the recycling bins instead of the trash dumpster that was 10 steps away.
