W.P. Franklin COE Campground is top notch. It's clean, it's neat, it's well maintained. The sites are big enough, the trees are a plus offering nice shade. The parking spaces for cars are a plus so that the campers don't have to park their tow vehicles on their site. There's a 180 degree view of water and the sunsets are spectacular. There's not much for kids to do, no playground, no swimming due to alligators and strong river currents.

A wonderful, peaceful site right on the water. We had power & water at our site for our RV, and a dump station nearby. The entire park was extremely clean and well kept. Fishing and kayaking (larger boats, if you have them) are available there, as is wildlife watching (birds & manatees).
