Sites were ok. Don't expect much privacy as it's fairly open. Route 19 right beside the CG was noisy.

Very nice park. But reminded me of the Nick Saban commercial for Vrbo. Read the list of rules, more don'ts than do's. Wasn't allowed to wipe off my trailer, would be considered washing which wasn't allowed. Really! Is lifting my hood to check my oil considered performing repairs or maintenance on a vehicle. "And most importantly remember, NO fun" - Nick Saban. There's your list, corroborated by other site campers..

We came for the full hookups but stayed for the Forest experience.
While it’s a 0.5-1 hour drive to the Villages or Blue Spring State Park, we really enjoyed our 12 night stay.
There are a few more rules to observe, but responsible campers/pet owners will have no issues.
In site 27, the low sun in late January early February means no shade from our awning. We’ll try for the opposite side of the road next time.
Excellent laundromat very close as well as diner, Dollar General, and hardware store.
A large number of sites are first come first serve, which is unusual in our experience.
America the Beautiful Senior Pass discount is only applied to camping, not the extra utility fees. It was still a value at about $40/night net.

This is our second time staying in the tent section of the campground. We enjoy the trees, open spaces, snorkeling with the fish in the springs and the nice hiking trails close by.
