Wonderful campground and the staff was great. They texted us to let us know when our site was available because we moved sites. The park was clean and so were the bathrooms. We will come back again.

Quiet location away from a lot of noise and light pollution. Our second year staying at Ortona and will try again next year. It was disappointing that the fishing pier and the footbridge over the canal were closed. No issues getting Amazon deliveries there.

Excellent support from the volunteers. For future improvement, we suggest to add coin washer and dryer.

Although the pier on the campground side of the waterway is closed, this campground is still great! The bathrooms are clean, the grounds are well kept, the ranger is great and the volunteers are very helpful and friendly. We always look for to camping here.

I love this campground and I try to stay there every year. But this year my daughter and granddaughter stayed with us for a few days. They went to the bath house to shower and when they were done the one female host was standing there asked how the shower water pressure was, my daughter replied it was ok. the Host very rude said well I had no water in my camper to wash my hair.

Ortona was very nice except for barking dogs in the site across from ours. The lock was interesting to watch.

Site 51 was fantastic. Close to restrooms. Paved site. Close to locks, which we enjoyed watching the boats go through.
