Midway Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment with clean facilities and friendly hosts, making it an ideal stop for exploring the Everglades and Big Cypress areas. Campers appreciate the privacy of the spacious sites, easy access to hiking trails, and the campground's cleanliness. Enjoyed our stay here very much, good site, good power, STARLINK worked great. Site 26, 35’ 5th wheel. Would be nice though if lake was trimmed around, to enable better fishing access and better view of safety concerns (Gators)

Excellent campground - clean, quiet, peaceful. Campsites are paved, level and spacious. There's a nice pond in the center of the campground with a resident alligator sometimes, but not this year.

Very clean, nice campground. Camp hosted was great and very helpful. Bathroom very clean, but no shower! We were allowed to use the shower at the campground about 8 miles down the road. No phone reception for AT&T. Close to Shark Valley and Everglades City.

Nice campground with easy access to Hwy 41. There is not a lot of vegetation buffer between sites but they are paved and there is a pond in the center. Someone spotted a Python the day we were there. The Loop Hwy ran North and South of the campground but it was quite dusty when we took it and there was not a lot of activity on it but others have highly recommended that trip. We highly recommend the boardwalk hikes in the area and especially liked the one at Fakahatchee Strand (about 2.25 miles). Good food at Camellia Street Grill in Everglade City and have heard City Seafood is good too but did not have a chance to eat there.

Campground is very nice zoom and well kept. Just wish they would add water at sites, hot showers more toliets in the mens room and dish washing station. Viewed one person washing dishes at potable water area.
