Large sites. Some shaded. Large Lake containing alligators. Excellent cellular service. Shower has hot water. Needs electric for RV sites.

This is an awesome park! We stayed here for 2 nights otw to Key West. We did have a great airboat ride and dinner at Triad in Everglades City. The park was at maybe 20% when we were there last week so it was quiet for sure. No electric or sewer. There is water by the bathhouse which is also very clean with a wonderful shower. There’s also a dumpster for trash by the entrance/exit. You will see alligators! The night sky does not disappoint either!

This is a campground I can recommend to 100%
The sites are large, all have a firering, table and bench. Washrooms with shower are cleaned every day and very sober.
Host Bob and his Team absolutely friendly and supportive. The whole campground is super maintained. Located at Tamiami Trail it offers lots of entertainment such as powerboat, canoeing, hiking trails. Everglades City (21 miles) offers opportunity to shop food, firewood and also tools and fishing equipment. There are also restaurants.
In 11 miles in direction West I recommend Joan's Blue Crab cafe which offers very delicious food.
No dumpstation but you can dump at Midway Campround (8 miles).
Monument Lake is a good place for watching wildlife like many birds, alligators an turtles.
It is a calm and peaceful beautiful place!
