Beautiful campsites. Wish website was kept up to date - we would have loved to have kayaked, but didn't plan on it as website says that kayaking services are closed, which is not true.

Jacqueline at the ranger check-in station was extremely helpful. The park ranger who informed me of the accident on route 40 was also extremely helpful. Both were very kind, considerate and easy and welcoming to talk to.

Pros: friendly and helpful staff, nice wooded surroundings, clean restrooms and showers, well maintained campsites
Cons: road noise (loud mufflers, motorcycles) into the late night, fairly congested tent camping spaces (neighbor's tent about 15 feet from mine), loud music from distant neighbors

Very nice stay. Stayed 2 weeks on the sand pine loop. Bathrooms cleaned frequently and maintained well. Workers all polite and helpful. Responded quickly to maintenance needs. Nice and quiet with private feeling spots even though it stays very busy. Weekends got a lot busier and the weekend campers tended to be a little more rowdy during those times but over all very calm especially during the week.

This place is truly beautiful! We love camping here. The bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. The one negative we experienced was there were a large group camping near us and they had severaldogs that were not kept on leahes. We had an older dog with us and one of the dogs did not like ourdog. We left with our camper to unload our holding tanks and when we came back a few minutes later, our dogs dish that we left on our picnic table was gone along with some firewood we left on the grill. We checked with the park personnel and they didn't remove anything from our site. It made us lose some of the spark we had for this park.

2 Weeks in January. Beautiful campground. Hosts were great. Weekends get crowded and noisy. Overall a nice stay. Do the spring run, not for beginners. Lots of tree cover if you are planning solar.

The campground itself was very nice, but the politicians left the rest of the park in disarray. NOTHING is open to see. Every single boardwalk is closed; rendering the trails useless, they’re letting the stone bridge just fall apart… it’s a shame. Where are the tax dollars going??? Apparently not to the park.

Great experience. Bridget and crew friendly. Restrooms clean. Only disappointment was quiet springs was closed caused by a sink hole. Not the park fault. Only complaint is that it takes forever for government to fix.
