Campsite was nice and clean. People were friendly.
Spring is pretty small but beautiful. Campsite was close to the main road so traffic was pretty loud in the mornings. Overall it was very nice we had a great time and so did our kids!

This is a beautiful place to camp. Campsites are a nice size and have trees. Rest rooms with showers are convenient to the campsites. A short trail from the camping area goes to the swimming area in the spring.

Lots of generators and road noise and all of the trails/boardwalks are closed, so overall not the best experience this time. The staff were all friendly and the Juniper Run is wonderful, though. Site 52 would have been better for tent camping than site 50, which lacks an elevated tent pad.

Reservation system not good. Arrived late in the day looking for a spot. Many available but could not reserve at the gate. Had to pull over try to get online at reservation site which was not allowing reservation. Staff at the gate ended up using my tablet to use a backdoor to get a site. Go back to at the gate reservation options!!!

The park has an amazing setting but the it VERY rundown and the campground is in embarrassingly bad condition. Simply unacceptable and appalling.
None of the wooden pathways are in operation from disrepair. Many of the old building structures are caged off from the public. The restrooms are in terrible disrepair. The showers don't work. It was a mess. I am referring to the restrooms that were in my part of the campground as I didn't enter all of them.
It is really a very sad situation. There are building there that should be preserved as they date back to the 1930's and were a part of the Roosevelt efforts to put folks back to work. The place could be amazing but it is in shambles. Very sad.

I have been going there for over 25 years. Love it. The sad thing is that maintenance is way behind. All boardwalks are shut down due to lack of Maintenace. Bathrooms are filthy due to lack of cleaning. Hopefully everything will go back to normal.

Had a great time here; only drawback is the bathroom.. it could use some attention sometimes and itβs very cold and drafty.
