A wonderful place to spend a few days, the springs were a welcome cool-off spot after a day on the trails! Big plots with plenty of space and fire pits, nice and quiet and zero light pollution for stargazing. The only downside was a lot of the boardwalks in Juniper Springs were closed with debris and dis-repair, presumably following Hurricane Ian, but other trails open nearby - we completed the Yearling Trail loop. Will definitely be back!

Far enough out that the springs are still clear with little moss. I wish they’d repair and reopen the boardwalk trail though.

Park was well maintained and peaceful. Our RV campsite and restroom facility was very clean. Generator use was permitted until 10 PM but most RVers shut down by 8 PM.

We love to come to this smaller and quieter campsite. Unfortubately the canoe rental is closed, as is the boardwalk and the museum. The campsites here are a;lways well maintained adn clean. Thank you for sharing this beautiful part of Ocala national forest.

The staff was always available and well informed about the area. Bathrooms were spotless and showers hot and clean. We even had Sandhill Cranes come and land in the field. Went to Lake Apolka and had a ball photographing birds.
We will be back.

Campsite 29 was excellent but had some trail traffic.
Beautiful springs and campground. Very peaceful even on a busy weekend.

I fully enjoyed the whole trip to Juniper Springs. however a couple of things need attention. First of all, a map showing the campground layout and general spring and mill house location would certainly help everyone in getting oriented more quickly. The other problem I encountered was more serious. Since the lighting of the showerhouse building is on timer, the lights will AND DO go out at any time. This causes complete darkness in the building with no chance of escape until someone else enters the building. This happened tome personally while I was there and I consider it s serious problem.

Great campground. Spacious and tidy. Swimming hole is a bit deep and on thr smaller side. But still beautiful and refreshing. We stayed in #21 and it was in my.opinon one of the better sites. Close to the spring and next to the path. I wanted to post pics but can't seem to do this on here
