I love camping and the outdoors to get away from noise and "city" life. But my last experiences at Juniper Springs have been dissappointing. Generators are running for most of day, loud music. I expected to wake up hearing birds....but no, all I heard was the drone of a generator(s). If people absolutely cannot not live without electricity.....go to a campground with hook ups. Do not plan on returning to this campground.

Staff was very friendly. Facilities are clean. Camp sites are spacious. The park is beautiful, lots of plants and trees and the springs were great. Bring face mask or goggles and snorkel to really get a good look while swimming in the springs.

Quiet, secluded campsites. Nice walk to the springs. On the Flordia National Scenic trail for longer hikes. Amicable employees. Nice showers and clean bathrooms.

The campground at this first-class Florida spring has declined. The road surface has degraded with holes and humps, presumably caused by tree roots. The camp bathroom fixtures are failing also, specifically the spring-return to OFF sink and shower faucets. Either they stick open or there is no control of the rate of flow. Sometime only a tiny flow is needed, not possible here, these faucets are all or nothing.

I think I speak for seniors in general when I speak to the fact that only those that are website savvy can stay at the campground. I could not even add another night to my stay with the check in rangers 😩. Often times folks camp to fre themselves from technology.

We love Juniper Springs Campground. I just wish they had electricity, and wish the shuttle service was operating. The restrooms are well maintained, ALWAYS CLEAN, and nice. The personal is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. A lot of the campsites are big and semi private. One of my favorites.

We were extremely disappointed to find that the boardwalk and all access to the creek trail was closed. We had chosen Juniper Springs in part because of the boardwalk, so my wheelchair bound husband could enjoy the area. When I went back to the website, the closure was mentioned, but it was at the bottom of the page, rather than in the description, and I had not read past the description of boardwalk. It should be more prominent! However, the campground was very nice, sites were relatively private and well tended. We especially enjoyed the Fern Hammock springs.

We have stayed here many times. Typically NPS campground, big sites, clean restrooms and no hook ups.
