This small campground and marina is located on the water and is beautiful and peaceful. We stayed in one of the boat slips which have water and electric. There is a Publix and some restaurants nearby.

The park had excellent facilities. When we arrived to our slip, a catamaran was taking part of our slip, so we used a nearby vacant slip. Although 50 amp service was expected, we had to split the coupler and use 2 30 amp connections. Water was available at the dock and the location was excellent for an early start eastbound because the dock was just westbound the St Lucie lock.

Small, but excellent campground. Downside is no sewers but there is a dump site available.
Worst part is it is next to impossible to get a reservation during the Winter season.

Absolutely top rate. Beautiful sunsets on the water -- level concrete waterfront pad -- private -- and yet near commercial suppliers. All sites have electric + water+ covered picnic table +standing grill + separate fire ring. Plenty of paved roads for biking in the park as well as nice nearby neighborhoods. Lots of birds on the canal catching fish. Loved this campground, although do not plan to stay during summer months due to little shade.

It was great to have the trail open again however I guess it will close for a couple of months for the lock rebuild. The only problem was that the camp volunteer never opened the office to greet people or answer questions.

This place was great! Small campground with fishing right at your site. We stayed in a tent. Sunsets were amazing. Caught lots of catfish. Very quiet and peaceful
