A time of tranquility! This park has ample space and hookups for what I needed. Was a great stay, clean facilities and very peaceful. Would definitely recommend to any vanlifers like myself!

Very clean and beautiful! So peaceful to be along the Okeechobee River. We were two campers together and sites five and six and we had tons of shade with a nice breeze. No bugs. The bathroom facilities were outstandingly clean.I live about two hours away and this is my favorite Army Corps of Engineers close by. Just 30 minutes away our beaches and close by are many great activities.

We've stayed at this place several times and it's always a quiet, relaxing and friendly experience. The sites are really well kept and spacious. Since this campground isn't full hookup, we usually stay here for a few days or as a nice stopping point when visiting nearby family or travelling up and down the coast of Florida. The price, scenery and location to nearby attractions is wonderful too. We're very happy to see our government is maintaining and offering dual purpose properties like this for its citizens to enjoy! One one particular trip, the campground host volunteer noticed we had left our tailgate open after departing the dump station. He immediately contacted our cell phone to let us know and thankfully prevented a plethora of issues that could have otherwise occurred.

What a peaceful, beautiful, waterfront campground. Campground was very clean and well maintained. The small atmosphere (only 9 RV sites) makes it feel secluded and private. Camp host is friendly and helpful. It was so cool to see the big cargo ships going down the waterway just steps from the RV's. Will be back!

Very interesting campground. Site was on RV 3, loved the view!! The campground was clean, well maintained and rangers and check in was very friendly.
Was disappointed the visitor center was closed due to the virus. Will definitely go back.!! .
