We loved being on the lake, the size of our campsite was great. The big drawback was the sugar ants. They were everywhere.

Ridge Road is a wonderful campground. View from campsite was beautiful. Water was clear and fresh due to location. Nice beach for kayaks. Some kids had a weekend party that was a little loud, but during the week it was quiet.

We love the big campsites that are waterfront on the beautiful Lake. We have been camping on Lake Thurmond for years but just discovered Ridge Road and fell in love.
