Had a Great 13 day stay,
No complaints from me or my family that camps here too.

Winfield is our favorite campground. We have stayed there many times and plan to as much as we can in he future. On our most recent trip we enjoyed swimming, fishing and watching an osprey mother come to her nest near our campsite. We also saw deer. We love the peace and quiet. The park attendants are super helpful and friendly. Thomson is a nice small town with thrift stores, antique stores, restaurants and historic sites. Don't miss Saturday Market which is full of old treasures. I also love Hidden Treasures Consignment Store on Oak Street. Also there is a Walmart for any items you forgot.

Nanette and Tonya are doing a great job. Very friendly. The park is the cleanest and the most organized it’s been since the 80’s. Best campground on the lake!

Such a beautiful place. Quiet and peaceful and with the America the Beautiful pass our rate was only $14. But warning - be prepared to be unplugged. We could not get any over the air TV channels, and no Verizon signals either.
