We stayed for 1 night, 2 days & it was still perfect! No issues, no complaints. Some people thought the restroom/showers were too far from camp site 75. It wasn't a long walk to me. If you don't want to walk, I'd suggest taking a scooter or bicycle. Or like some people do, just drive your car. I believe it was a 10min walk. Kids loved it, I loved it

The sites were so dirty. One site had a lot of garbage in the fire pit, half a bag of dog food all over the site and even raw potatoes on the ground. The other spot had 4 piles of dog do, cigarette butts, eggshells and a full, burnt fruit cake all throughout the bushes. We called numerous times requesting someone come clean the sites but no one ever did. We had to clean it all up ourselves.
Also, they lock the gates, with no access to get in or out, at 10:30pm. We had a later curfew when we were in high school.
Even though you pay extra for a lakeside spot, people from across the street will walk back and forth through your site and there is nothing they will do about it. Zero privacy.
The lake and nature is beautiful but the uncleanliness, lack of privacy and all the rules were very disappointing.
We won’t camp here again and don’t recommend it.

My site (34) was listed as "premium waterfront," but it was not; could barely see the lake thru the trees (but it was nice and shady). The hose at the dump station literally has NO threads, so unable to flush tank. Other than that, Sweetwater is a very nice campground with a nice little beach. Ladies at check in/out were very nice and friendly. :)

Really nice camp sites. Strict rules though that make it feel more like a childhood summer camp than adult recreation

Well we’re do I start. Very nice site but there was no respecting others sites. Dogs running with no Leashes pooping and not cleaning it up. kids chasing the geese all over your site, parking all over the grass and , park attendants never saying anything. Just saying not my favorite campground.

We have the best time ever at Sweetwater campsite. We have been coming here for years with our kids and now our grandkids. Always very friendly folks at the check in booth. Campsites and bathrooms are always clean. We love coming here.
