Very quite and peaceful stay. Park was clean and the staff at the gate were very friendly. We plan to go back with other spots we found we'd like to book.

This review in no way reflects on the camp host who are doing the best they can in a difficult situation. This may only be a summer situation and winter camping not affected. It would appear that this facility, with the lake and beech access, is mostly being used by local residents. It appeared that most campers move their RV's there and then drive another vehicle home. This campground is being used as a "lake house" location. The normal RV campground etiquette is not observed. People are there to party and most sites have multiple vehicles and large groups of people. Parties went late into the night and children were running unsupervised even after dark. I would say that it was much worse from Friday through Sunday. On a walk around my circle, I was walking my dog on a leash when two unrestrained pit bulls attacked her. I reported it to a Ranger who said she gave him a verbal warning, good thing it wasn't one of the unsupervised children on a bike or electric scooter. I did not feel comfortable and will probably not be returning to this park. You decide for yourself.

Nice campground, great site, fellow campers were mostly great.
Boaters get noisy and obnoxious on weekends. Also weekend campers can be a bit loud/drunk.
Once again somebody smeared their feces all over the commode in the men's room. sigh
This has happened at least once during every one of our stays at this campground this year. I think it's juveniles from the neighborhood across the fence and not from campers.
Campground hosts are fantastic but the campground would benefit from more law enforcement traffic.

Loved being able to go in the water and paddle board right from our site #84. Friendly campers. The beach is great. We will definitely be back for the beautiful lake and short drive from our home. Didn't use the showers because we brought our own so we can't comment on that experience.
