If you have a bigger rig, I recommend staying in this first loop. Many sites further into the park will be real hard to even get to let alone park into. We stayed for 4 nights and only seen the ranger once and the never a host drive by. Thus people drove 25-30 miles an hour...need speed bumps on the loop. Also the party was on for several sites well past midnight, but no enforcement of quiet time by the hosts. This is why 4 stars and not 5.

It's a beautiful campground, but our site was a challenge to get our 5th wheel in due to narrow pad with broken pieces and vehicles, boat trailers parked in driveway across our site. Also after the weekend I picked up trash along the lake and dispose of it properly.

We stayed at site 43. This was our first back in site and the view was AMAZING!! The sites were close together and it was a bit of a challenge to back in with so many vehicles around. However, we were able to with no problems. The campground is fairly large and very clean. They also have 2 dump stations which make it convenient when leaving. The only downside was the people at check-in. They weren’t pleasant with us or other people coming and going. Lots of yelling from them to people for very minor things. I felt they should have been calm and cool headed when speaking to people. However, that won’t discourage us from staying here again. Everyone is allowed to have a bad day , and hopefully we won’t have to experience that next time we stay.

Too many people renting camp site’s to just park their boat trailer’s for one. The road was block most of the weekend with the boat trailer or their vehicle’s. It was very hard to get out and in out camp site! They also keep their boats parked around our camp so it was hard for us to get our on boat on our camp site at the water. We didn’t get to Fish like we wanted due to all the boat taking up our space on the water. It takes away from family that want to camp also by letting people reserve camp site just to park their boat trailer’s on the camp site. They had Jet skies going really fast in and out and almost hit my children on several different occasions. It was not a good camping trip !!
