Great camp ground with well maintained facilities. Staff was always helpful. So nice to be in such a peaceful place with wonderful water views, and lake access for boaters. Sweetwater CG is a great place to just chill and relax in a quiet setting. Cell service was good with Verizon and T-Mobile. Thanks USACE!

This is my favorite camp ground so far! It was absolutely beautiful there. If you need a place to just be present with nature, this is it. The bath houses were good too. Hot hot water and clean.
The only thing the campground lacked was WiFi, but I was able to get over 30 local channels with the antenna, alone. We will visit again.

Had an awesome time at this campground! Our site was perfect for us, right at the water where we could leave our boat in and walk right down to it. Our grandson loved it! Had a nice little grill and picnic table, and it was a pull thru site which was especially easy for me lol (the wife). The couple at the front where you check in seem a little high strung when you check in, almost like drill sergeants but they are just making you are aware of the rules and keeping the park clean and safe. We will definitely be visiting here very often, and btw we stayed at site 92

Great site- friendly staff. Lack of dumpster in this part of the campground was disappointing (they used to have one here).
The ant issue is pretty serious here- bring some spray or granules to keep them off your rig and eating area, there are TONS of ants here.

Beautiful camping spot on the water. There was a hoard of tiny black ants on the site that we had to treat to keep from getting in the camper.

first it was too hot. the spot was not shady enough. the restrooms where not within walking distance of camp sight. and only one had showers. they were hot inside, no fans or air.
the grounds were nice and well maintained, but will not stay thee again.
