We have been coming here for many years. The park is well maintained, the sites are spacious and many have views of the lake.

Beautiful part of Lake Alatoona. Clean campgrounds. Bathrooms and showers are VERY clean, which is a HUGE compliment to the grounds keeper. Park tenants are great and friendly, and check on the grounds professionally without disturbance. Loved our 3 days there and HIGHLY recommend this campground to anyone.

Nice sites. Clean. It was very spread out though and our site (001) was far from the beach access...needed to drive.

My entire family always camps at Sweetwater Cg the whole Father's Day Weekend. We always reserve over 20 sites. The campsite I have had the last two years was well shaded and comfortable with easy access. I hope to get the same one this year.

This was our 4th or 5th weekend at Sweetwater in the past 5 years. This campground is convenient to town, has great loops for kids to bike ride, and the gate attendants are nice. The sites are great, deep for plenty of parking, shaded, and equipped with a fire pit and grill. We generally stay in the high 140s because we don't have "facilities". This is my one complaint and it's a big one. The restrooms have always been our least favorites among other places we've camped because they are older and never have soap (BYO). However, on this visit, they were worse than we've ever seen. There must be a plumbing issue, maybe they need to replace the pipes or toilets, There was standing water in 2 of the 3 women's stalls. This must be addressed. It is absolutely unsafe and unclean to allow these conditions and I hope they have plans to fix this in the off-season.
