Lot 51 is quiet with a good view of the lake. But had an incline that can cause you to scrape bottom of your tow bars or motor home. While helping my husband navigate this site in the dark, I feel in the ditch…. Even with all this I do love the campground.

Wonderful campground if only the bathrooms had some vent fans in place.

Make sure you have pepper spray and a phone to call 911. Dogs running loose and Park Ranger, contract host and campground host all rode by thru out the day)s) and should have easily seen them loose. Unless that’s all they do is RIDE by. Great campsite and friendly checkin. BUT, on one of our walks on the pavement with my dog and I (which he was on a required leash) were attacked by one of those dogs. I had to grab my little dog up while the dog came running and started jumping and snapping at my dog. My husband got between us and the other dog and one of their kids ran up to get it and said sorry and dragged him back while the grown ups sit back laughing. I had bad scratching all over my arm (thankfully) from my dog and now my little dog is traumatized from this ordeal. Would have called and reported, but they were camping close to us and we had one night left and we know how people are crazy and may have done something. 2 of us, about 50 of them in a group. I will have both pepper spray and will call 911 if there is a next time. This campground has lots of rules that they do not enforce. Nice and quiet until Friday and Saturday night. Had to turn fan on to be able to sleep past the 10:30 quiet time. We have been here several times, but this is probably our last. We did not feel safe. We left a little before 9am this morning and the guard shack was closed for me to talk to anyone about this.

Wonderful park! Campsites are a nice size and a good amount of shade. You feel like you are actually camping for the most part and not just parked in a parking lot with giant RV's everywhere.
