A large and well-kept campground. The folks we dealt with were very helpful. Could use a few more bathhouses/toilets.

The campground was ok. The site (#9) we had was horrible to get into. The drive was at a bad angle. The site itself was ok. We had access to the lake but you had to climb in and out.
When we arrived the 30 amp wasn’t working, so we had to use our adapter and plug into the 50 amp. We told the lady at the gate it wasn’t working and she said someone would fix it the next day. We never saw anyone.
There was only 2 bath houses (with 2 showers for each sex in each of them) for 150 campsites, it really isn’t enough. They are in need of some updating and repair. The showers didn’t put out much water and very little pressure.
We were booked for a week, but that was too long. It would be ok for a weekend, but there isn’t enough to do for a week. We went to the beach, kayaked and fished.

We stayed at site #8 which is a pull through water front site. Had a great view of the lake through the trees, this site is in the back and on a nice quiet part of a cove on the lake. We enjoyed floating out on the lake and kayaking, great spot for that.
The campground, like all the COE campgrounds on Lake Allatoona, was well maintained and clean. Restrooms, while old, were clean as well. Highly recommend staying at any of these campgrounds, sites are spacious well maintained.

We were camping with our daughter and soninlaw so that they could get familiar with the camper they had bought. It was a great weekend of family time. Sweetwater is one of our favorite campgrounds because the people who work there are friendly and it is very clean.

Sweetwater CG is one of our favorite campgrounds. It has a lot of water sites and sites are not too close together. Camp Host’s are very nice and friendly.

VERY nice campground that's well maintained. Campsite was pretty level with lot of trees (shade). I will say that the pathways were a little narrow, but not so much so that I had trouble getting the RV in place. My only concern really would be that at a certain time, they close the park and you can't get in our out. Will definitely be back!!

We have camped here a lot over the past several years as we have a boat as well. Bill the volunteer at the front gate was very rude and downright nasty because we had some issues when changing camp sites. He is obviously not a nice man as he spoke to us very rudely and told us we could just leave if we didn't like him. We still enjoyed our stay but he definitely made us having a mishap with our boat trailer and not getting off the site until 3:20 pm seem like we were the worst people. It was terrible to be spoken to like that by a man we had to see for the next several days coming and going from the camp ground. He is not a nice man angry 😒

What a beautiful park! We chose Sweetwater because it is close to our home…..just over an hour away. We just needed to get away for a few days. Our spot was across the road from the lake so we had a great view. The staff was kind and helpful and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be going back.
