First day open for this campground. It’s one of our favorite places to camp. Nice hosts this time around.
Only dislike was nothing to do with the campground, but an extremely loud amphibious plane circled for hours practicing water landings. While it was cool to watch the first few times it quickly became a noise issue. Like I said nothing to do with the campground but still took a lot away from an otherwise great Saturday afternoon

The ranger & maintenance crew were helpful when the electrical hookup did not work at our site. Got it working with minimal delay

Nice clean campsites and facilities. Great playground near the beach. Life jackets provided at each of the swim areas we saw.
I was disappointed that there were no soap dispensers in any of the restrooms we visited.

Very nice campground. The driveway and site s are somewhat narrow for a big rig, but doable.

- From I-75 take exit 290 and head east on Highway 20 toward Canton/Rome. After approximately 12 miles turn right onto Fields Chapel Road and follow for 2 miles into the campground.
From I-575 take extit 16. Follow Highway 20 west toward Cartersville, after 5 miles turn left on Fields Chapel Road and follow for 2 miles into the campground.
