The bathroom and shower was very clean. Campground was beautiful and very clean for the most part. Had a rude neighbor next to us that made a pleasant trip into a uncomfortable spot. Could not use our lantern light without having curse words yelled at us and loud conversations with no regards to others.

Pleasant experience. Beautiful lake. If you weren't aware, do bot try and check in after dark. They will, however, let you park outside the gate until 7am if you do arrive after dark.

We stayed in campsite 143. Was a little difficult getting into the site. The site was not cleaned up upon arrival. Trash was on the table and fire pit. The grass at this campground really needs to be cut and maybe this will help with insects. The bathrooms were not well kept and there is no soap dispenser in any bathroom. The campground has cut the connections on the flush line to clean your dump tank. We spoke to the host, the ranger, and maintenance. When asked to be fixed they said they are trying to cut down times at dump station due to having 100 sites. My husband did buy and repair one of the lines to be able to flush but I’m sure they will cut that as soon as they find it. The park is quiet that’s about it. We will not return.

Our family gathers at Sweetwater Campground every year on Fathers Day. Our parents started the tradition and we have been getting together there with all our kids and grandkids for 40 years. Some stay a week and some can only come for the day. It's a great way for our family to keep in touch and our kids to get to know and appreciate family. We always have a great time.

Site 78 is for handicapped. Cars drive on the road near and have to slow down due to speed bump. That means you constantly look at them as they draw attention. Especially big boat trailer trucks, and its often. Trash dumpsters are 5 min walk. You'll likely store trash in car or drive with car to dumpsters. Water faucet at every site. water access is good for site 78, but not a swimming spot. Get the sites that are closest to beach.
Check is isn't at 4, call ahead to be sure. it starts at 1pm. They ask for everyones first names and car plates. No hikes.

site 122 is nice because it's kind of secluded which is awesome plus you get to see everybody around you but also had that privacy
