Beautiful and as well kept as our visit in August 2020. Too bad the grounds close in mid-September.
The only thing I see that has not changed is there are no benches to put personal belongings while in the shower stall. The bath houses are very clean, however, one needs to bring a camping chair of some sort to hold a towel, change of clothes and toiletries.

Gorgeous place, kept clean, bathrooms are clean and had soap and toilet paper all the time. Great place for camping!

One of our favorite parks! We stayed in #20 and it was quite a drop off getting out of our camper. I walk with a cane so I kind of crawled down our stairs until I hit solid ground. Other camp sites have been good though. We still had a nice time.

I like the park very much, but it looks like a mess. I know it was hit by bad weather, but there has been time to clean up. Even the grass hasn’t been mowed.
The gate attendants were great.

Sawnee is a great campground on the beautiful Lake Lanier. We’ve been coming here for 15 years.

I showed up to my site and someone else’s was already there and wound up getting the site Nextel it. And the one I got stuck with didn’t even have a tent pad, just concrete and rocks.

My wife and I were on site 22, it was absolutely beautiful. Water views all around and nicely shaded. Very clean and neat site. We loved it
