Campsites all in good shape, road culverts newly replaced. Pleased to see a shower added to the back of the bathhouse, with warm water. Bathhouse is worn out, and I imagine will be replaced before long

Very nice campground. The shower was a bit primative but very warm. Hiking in the Chattahoochee National Forest during peak fall colors was excellent.

Great campground. Only complaint is the highway noise all hours of the day and night. Well maintained and nice trails nearby.

This campground needs a host. No one at this location at all to answer any questions. Bathrooms suck. It has a outdoor shower with hot water. The only good thing. I spent 2 nights and 3 days and never seen anyone to check me into the campground. I enjoyed the peaceful environment. Overall I rate this campground a 2.

Nice site, very well maintained semi-private but definitely doesn’t feel like there are other campers right on top of you. Family and pet friendly, hosts were very nice, the campgrounds were easily accessible and it was nice to have the showers available! Only issue was we could smell the outhouse-style bathrooms near our campsite at some points during the stay, but it wasn’t too terribly bad, just a little gross at times lol, if it had been summer it might have been way more bothersome. The nearest store was about 15 minutes away down the mountain so if you needed to get supplies that was pretty much the only place to go that wasn’t really far. There was absolutely ZERO cell service anywhere near the campgrounds, nice to unplug but a little annoying because we couldn’t keep good track of the weather, it did end up raining when we were there and it would have been nice to see the radar so we could prepare. Overall great experience! We will definitely be coming back!

Nice relaxing place to tent camp. Waterfalls at the campground are easy to get to and decent looking. The outdoor shower is covered and surrounded by a wall and feels great with the steaming hot water with the cool weather outside. I did the 6 gap bike race while staying here. Tent sites are clean and level. Road noise isn’t too bad. You will hear any vehicle with exhaust or mud tires but traffic dies down at night. I got phone signal with AT&T near the front of the campground but it cut off about site 8. Site 8 and 9 where I stayed felt nice and private.

This campground has become a little too expensive over the years for what all it entails. $28 per night seems a bit extreme for a campground right off the main road where you can hear cars and 18-wheelers all night long. Beautiful area, great pads and set ups, and thankful for the toileting amenities, but the price comparison is a turn off for me.

Nothing wrong with the campground itself. Very nice spots and a wonderful outdoor shower. The problem is the road next to it that is used as a dragstrip and racetrack for motorcycles and cars. Went on for hours.

Staying at Desoto Falls Recreation Area was extremely convenient. The campground itself was peaceful with nice bathroom accommodations. However, you are definitely going to hear the speeding traffic up and down the curvy highway. The hiking trail and creek offered some good nature fun, and you are close enough to other spectacular 'attractions' that you won't run out of things to do. Corner store is right down the road for supplies and cell service - zero reception on site. Only thing I wish is for better information on neighboring sites for larger groups! We booked site 1 and 2 just to find out that the camp host is smack dab in the middle.

We had the best time here!! Campsite 3 was so peaceful, even on a packed holiday weekend. The hosts were so kind and inviting, we loved them. Great bathrooms, trails, clean sites, hiking, and parking. There’s no cell service, so it was the perfect, quiet weekend. I just hate how much road noise you get, but the site is perfect other than proximity to the road.
