What Guests Are Saying
Doll Mountain Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds and friendly, helpful hosts. Many visitors enjoyed spacious, private sites with stunning views of Carters Lake and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, as well as nearby attractions like Ellijay and Blue Ridge. However, some concerns were raised about parking difficulties, the distance to restrooms, and noise from other campers disrupting the tranquility. Overall, it is recommended as a great camping destination with a serene environment.

Tent camping at site 38 was perfect. We had plenty of space, it's right by the bathrooms and the view is unmatched. We enjoyed fishing along the bank, hiking and the quiet sounds of nature. Perfect for a long weekend. The rangers were kind and very accommodating. Highly recommend this camping location.

The campground was nice as always. The weather cooler than normal made it great for walking.

We have made Doll Mountain our go to CG as we love the sites & attention to cleanliness of all facilities. Always have had gr8t gate keepers who are friendly and helpful. Plus the ability to go to the lake @ Harris Branch is a plus. Our only wish would be and hopefully you take notice of this wish as many there have also said it is the only thing missing would be if you had a "DOG RUN FENCED IN FOR OUR FOUR LEGGED FRIENDS" then this would be the ultimate CG for so many more! There is an area next to the bathrooms @ entrance to sites 1-12 behind the play area for kids. Our goldendoodle often asks why do the hoooomans get a playground but we don't!!! Can you tell him because we ran out of stories to make up! Thank you very much!

Beautiful campground wonderful shade trees. Beautiful views. This is on a ridge so campsites are not down on the lake. The area offers a lot. Ellijay it’s a nice short drive and a fun little town. Campground host could not have been nicer.

Would be nice if there were more man made trails from campsites to the lake.
