What Guests Are Saying
Doll Mountain Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds and friendly, helpful hosts. Many visitors enjoyed spacious, private sites with stunning views of Carters Lake and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, as well as nearby attractions like Ellijay and Blue Ridge. However, some concerns were raised about parking difficulties, the distance to restrooms, and noise from other campers disrupting the tranquility. Overall, it is recommended as a great camping destination with a serene environment.

We loved the campground, beautiful, clean and friendly! The one issue was the guests at site 33, across the street, parked their boat directly in front of our campsite. We reserved this site specifically to be able to park our boat on it. They then walked THROUGH our campsite after 11PM with 7 people to access their boat for fishing. Not recommended for tent camping.

Very windy and hilly roads to and from...also the campground has narrow roads. The sites are very small and not much to do. No where to walk and access to the lake was at the boat ramp only.

Lovely campground with many large and private sites, some with decks and most with water views. Nearby Ellijay has good shopping, wineries, antiques, and orchards.

Lovely site with a view! Very clean and nice bathhouse with showers. My only concern is this great site is right across from the bathhouse and although convenient, can be noisy during the late evening as most campers are driving here to wash up and their chatter and vehicle headlights right into tent takes from the experience. Once they are done ( about 11pm) then the peace returns and the incredible night chorus of the cicadas makes it all worth it.
