Lovely campground mid week. Might be more busy and noisy on weekend.

The week was quiet with a great spot to visit with friends and enjoy the lake. Checking in was easy. No camp how was on duty. Registration was done by paper. I did feel a little concerned that during our 8 day stay a camp host was not in the kiosk which made me question the security of the campground. However luckily we had no issues.

sites order based on water access
40-42-37-38-41-39-36
site 40 is at the end of trail and has wide and easy access to water. a bit on hill and has 180° view. best site in campground. this may be best site even when comparing many other campgrounds. water is about 30 feet away and is good for swimming. besides site 42, all other sites are kinda pointless unless they are friends with site 40 group. no views for other sites. parking lot has 8 places, parallel to each other and about 18 feet long. trail to sites is wide and beautiful.
site 39 right next to trail, lacks privacy. right next to 41 entrance. water access is bad, down a steep hill and a sudden drop that is claimable.
site 41 has ok privacy , water access is bad down steep hill and suddenly even steeper to water.
site 42 big tent area, good access down to water and nice privacy, is most away from trail.
site 38 next to trail. water acces is down a steep hill and has good acces, no climbing needed. water acces is between 38 and 37 seems like it almost belongs to 37.
site 37 at near start lacks privacy. eveyone going to cars or restroom will walk parallel to campsite and very near.
site 36 near trail near road, no water access, water is down a steep hill and doesn't look like anyone bothered ever to go down because of how it looks like
