Tent pads are good size and level. Almost all camp sites are on the water with fantastic views. Bath house is clean and maintained. Carter's lake is scenic and not over crowded. Staff is very friendly and everything was ready for our arrival.

Me and some friends got the group campground and it was awesome. Definitely plan on going back. No one bothered us and we were able to have all the privacy in the world away from all the othet campgrounds. 10/10

Bathhouse is very small and outdated. Also need better access to lake from campsites.

It’s always clean and so quiet and peaceful and the couple you have working there are amazing always so friendly and helpful and make sure everyone is following the rules so everyone can have a great time

I love this camp ground. Some sites can be a little challenging to back into but the water is clear and the lake is not crowded. I feel safe paddling around in a kayak.

We had a great time! We didn't go out through the entire campground. We were at the front in 02 but it was clean when we got there. There are LOTS and LOTS of yellow jackets though. We even had a visitor on night 1 during the night....a nice big bear! The second night we saw a couple of deer and one just laid All in all, we had a great time and a great experience. We will come back :).

From Atlanta, take I-75 north to Exit 293; follow Highway 411 north. Turn right on Highway 136, then left on old Highway 411. Turn right on Highway 282/76. Campground is located 4.5 miles off Highway 282.
