We always enjoy our time at Woodring.
It is always quiet.
But the bathrooms were not keep clean and stocked and that was a disappointment.

This was our second time camping here. The campsite (1) was wonderful. It was tended to and looked clean and nice. However my biggest issue was the bathrooms. They were terrible. The camp ground did not seem over crowded so I don’t think it was just a volume issue. My husband and I had a running joke about the toilet paper and mud on the floor how many days it would be there. Three, at least three days for the record. I saw who I believe to be the camp attendant several times on the orange kuboda and I always assumed they would be checking on it but I was wrong. Outside of the bathroom it was great but it was a definite miss with the shower/toilet issue.

Very peaceful campground. There is a small beach and several boat ramps. Nice little nature trail for hiking. Ellijay, Fort Mountain, and Chatsworth are close by. Ample opportunity for boating and kayaking.

Great campground and clean facilities. Only downside was the very loud atv the campground workers drove around the campground. Even the workers had in ear protection since it was so loud!
