I really enjoyed my stay at woodring campground. The sight was clean the people were courteous and informative. Though the sight was kinda small for my 30’ pull behind.

Beautiful place! The only thing I am not a fan of is the bathrooms/showers. Not as clean. If you have a bathroom/shower in your camper use that instead of the one the campground provides. Other then that the campground is very clean and the sites are well maintained.

The campground was very clean and nice set up. The only complaint I have is that is was difficult to get down to our boat from our spot. I wish there was more access to boats or a pier. Otherwise, the spots were roomy with Electric and water and great price with the America the Beautiful Pass

The camp sites and the lake are great. We stayed at 37 and all the close sites were unoccupied which was nice. Site was clean and good size. Water access within walking distance. My only peeve was that check-in is at 4:00, but when we arrived at 4:30 someone was still leaf blowing our site and all the sites on that peninsula. Not a huge deal, we got ourselves oriented while he leaf blowed and then set up. The next day, at 12:00 we went for one last hike near the dam. When we returned around 1:45 we swam and we were packing up our car with our last few items when parking attendants pulled up. They remarked they thought we "went missing" and said "You know check-out is three, right?". Yes, we were ten minutes behind, but this was on a Monday with no reservations on that site after we left. We assured them our campsite was empty (and it was) and promptly left. It rubbed me the wrong way that the camp wasn't ready when we arrived, yet we were hurried out by attendants when there was no one coming after us. It seems like they want you to show up late and leave early. Otherwise it was a great experience and I would like to come back.
