Stayed on the point. Lots of shade overlooking the lake like nearly all spots here. Very clean spots, clean bathrooms and showers. Camp hosts were amazing helpers for anything. Will definitely be coming back!

Loved the lake. Camp site was a little narrow for my 5th wheel. Be careful with a boat because the lake level changes a lot, but I was told this by the camp hosts.

Can't think of what could have been better. Here's one - the boat dock is not in great shape. I'm glad to have one (some places don't), but this one has a pretty good list - makes you wonder how save it is. That's pretty minor. We had a great time.

The campground in amenities were amazing. Very well kept up very nice place. Do not like campsite two I had to build a bridge to get in and out of it because my camper bottomed out and it looks like a lot of others do.

This was our first time here & absolutely fell in love with the place. It's very clean & well kept. The sites are paved & most, if not all, are on the water. We had great views & plan to definitely come back!

Woodring Campground is accessible via I-75 and Highway 411, which connects to Highway 136 and Highway 282/76. The campground is located approximately 4.5 miles off Highway 282.

- All campers must have a reservation and register upon arrival. Campsite occupancy is limited to 8 guests, 2 vehicles, and 1 boat.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Vehicles can exit the campground at any time using the electronic gate.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; buy it locally and burn it on-site to protect forests.
Safety & rules
- Camping at Carters Lake is limited to a maximum of 14 days within a 30-day period.
