Beautiful place to visit. We have stayed at a few different campsites and everyone of them have been incredible for their different attributes. 19,20, and 21 you can get into the water. 53 an absolute beautiful overlook into the bay like area filled with fish and bait. Can’t wait to try 38 and 39. Site 42 is a dream. The Staff at the entrance are friendly and helpful. We were visited by park volunteers who shared fish stories and photos. Honestly we feel like we’re known there. Security was perfect expect someone to come around every hour or so. A rain storm was coming and the park ranger came to look out from the pier at the rain clouds across the lake. We stayed for the rain which quickly passed. Floating on our paddle board watching the rain bounce off of the water. Twin deer fawns and mom were wondering the campground. Honestly a day at the campground fulfills you as though you had a complete vacation. I visit almost every week now. ❤️
